Chocolate cupcakes#
Original recipe: The Golden Book of Chocolate
15 cupcakes
Ingredients#
90g bitter chocolate
125g unsalted butter, softened
200g sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
225g cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons honey
125g sour cream
250g Nutella or similar spread, nuts and fruits for decoration
Preparation#
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Mix flour, powder and salt
Melt chocolate in bain mairie.
Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs and chocolate.
Add flour mixture and sour cream.
Fill the forms up 2/3 height.
Bake 15-20 mins or until a wooden pick is dry after inserting it in a cupcake.
Take out, cool, decorate with the spread and fruits.
